I've decided to pull Alba for the time being. It needs more work, and numbers. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, I'll get you some nice when it comes back, mkai?

The Inavitable Update

If you have been looking around my page lately, you may notice it's rather sparse. This is because I have about 3 different fonts on the roll, and I don't really know what to do with them. I want to realm into humanist fonts, without ditching the blockiness of past fonts. So to make up for this, here are all the new fonts in words, on their way, erm... soon.

Project A:

If you seen my 2009 collection while it was up, you're lucky. Because you now have an early version of this. (Sell it on ebay, it will be worth millions :D) Basically, its a 'Zeta II'. But it's not. It was more like an upside down intercorp, and vortexish, but not quite. You following. I didn't really like it, so I changed it, and now it looks, GARRGH I can't explain! It's nearly finished but I'm just leaving more time for it to change and add more... stuff.

Project B:

This is (hopefully) my last fontstruct font. I'm tired of the limitations with it, but I'd like to send it off with something nice. At the moment, it's called "Alba Geometric" and is VERY different to my other works. The letter structure is similar to ruba, but the shapes and composition make up a very rounded, bouncy, and...circlish. I hope to expand these into a family and to include capitals, like a normal font would have. Hence the very long delay.

Project C:

If you read my other post, you'll find I'm working on a new non-fonstruct font, "Caltraine". Work is underway at the moment, and some (I say) some progress has been made. It's quite odd, from a distance it looks like any other, yet upfront it's really, sexy? I think I have a love of fonts.

All will be out whenever I do enough work on them, that they're complete.

Hei There.

I'm not one for entries, but I might as well let you know. I've started making my first non-fontstruct font; each glyph is custom made in GIMP. It currently looks, erm... good? I've been using Calibri and Pantograph Sans as inspiration so imagine a meish version of those. It is under the working name Caltraine, and should be out in January.
